Fiberglass paintings

Peter came up with this beautifully practical aspect for using our developing ideas of fiberglass artwork. Simple sliding vanity doors, designed by Peter Poppler, BackdoorKauai.com_. This is my new bathroom remodeled by Peter and his friends. The counter top is granite! Mahalo to da kru! 3/17/2013

The Transit of Venus

I painted this during the transit of venus on June 5th, 2012. Translating the energy of the event to the canvas, I hope you can feel it. It is 52"x 52" canvas.

I think I wrote a blog about this painting, "Breathe", it is 20"x60" on gallery wrapped canvas already stretched on wood frame. I painted around the edges so it shouldn't need a frame. Ultimately I would like to hang it on the ceiling so you would look up at it like as if it were the sky.

These are two small 8" x 10" fiberglass paintings. My husband and I collaborated on these with his surfboard and carpentry skills and my painting.

Mendanilla Magnifica

The very Gracious Plant Diva!
This original acrylic painting is
18" x 24" gallery wrapped canvas. Mendanilla Magnifica would graciously pose for every picture, saying "Would you like another? How's this?"
If you look closely you may see her with her fresh leaves fairy wings!

Lives

As Lady Gaga said, "I don't care if they don't get it" Actually I am not sure if I "get it" either! Open to interpretation. The docents can have fun with this one in the museum!
Actually I started riding this board again this summer and it especially likes the right at Anini

My Wild Garden

This original acrylic painting is 5' tall by 20" wide. It is not only a plein air portrait of "My Wild Garden", it also captures the actual flower essences and plant essences of the plants. This way you can bring them into your home and feel "The Wild Garden". I learned to allow the plants to share their beautiful essences in my paintings from my Plant intuitive master Marissa Henderson, http://theplantspirits.blogspot.com . If you are receptive to the Plant Spirit's lovely energies, you will appreciate the value of having this painting in your house.

Sunflowers

I planted sunflowers one summer and painted them with their energies. I just did a Qigong teaching workshop with Francesco and Daisy Lee at Kahuna valley and one of my fellow student/teachers came to my house to buy a T-shirt. When she saw this painting she immediately connected with the sunflower's energies, being that she was aware of energies since she was a Qigong teacher.

My Samoan coconut

What can I say? This is a portrait of the mother Samoan coconut tree. Original acrylic is 40" x 30" on a gallery wrapped canvas. I would consider selling it for the right offer, as I said I only sell the original art work, I do not have prints or gyclees.

Delirium from the sandman

Michelle had an art show in Honolulu with the theme of Neil Gaiman's Sandman characters, I chose to do "Delirium", my version of her.
I also intended to leave a lesson for my future grandchildren in the painting.
